Millikin COVID Vaccine Clinic

The vaccination clinic will also serve as a Performance Learning opportunity for Millikin School of Nursing students as they will have the opportunity to administer COVID-19 vaccines as part of their last clinical experience of the spring 2021 semester.

"Millikin University is proud to partner with the Macon County Health Department to offer an on-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinic to our campus community," said Raphaella Prange, vice president for Student Affairs at Millikin. "Vaccinating our students, faculty and staff is a priority for the University and a critical component to our plan of returning to normal operations for the fall 2021 semester."

Prange noted, "Our School of Nursing has been pivotal in maintaining a strong relationship with our community health partners, and we are beyond thrilled that our students in the School of Nursing will be an integral part of this clinic. The vaccination clinic will be a meaningful example of Millikin's hallmark of Performance Learning, providing continued on the ground, real experience during the pandemic for our students interested in community and public health careers."
