Millikin to suspend campus operations for Friday, Feb. 4, due to inclement weather
Millikin University will suspend campus operations for Friday, Feb. 4, due to inclement weather. At this time, all administrative offices will be closed, and campus and student organizational events are canceled. Practices (athletic, music and theatre) may take place after 2 p.m. Any campus meetings that are deemed necessary should only take place via video conferencing.
Faculty have the discretion to decide if their classes will meet virtually or be canceled on Friday, Feb. 4. Additionally, the COVID-19 SHIELD Testing Clinic will be open on Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Millikin employees designated as essential to campus operations, including student services, facilities/grounds, public safety and dining services will report to campus as directed by their supervisors.
Students with meal plans are reminded that campus dining will remain in operation. Dining services will be following their weekend hours of service (11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 – 6:30 p.m.) during this time of modified operations.
The University will resume normal operations on Monday, Feb. 7.
