Millikin University 2002 musical theatre graduate Dwelvan David is currently a member of the touring cast of "Finding Neverland," the stage adaptation of the hit film "Peter Pan" created by J.M. Barrie.

In a recent interview with WBBM Newsradio CBS Chicago, David said, "Most of my cast mates have been here, to Chicago before, but I tell them that it's the best city we'll stop on the road. The energy that we receive from the crowd is electric because the people here love theater and the chance to escape."

Originally from Chicago, David developed a love for music and dance at a young age. While enrolled at Millikin, David was cast in "Anything Goes" and "The Marriage of Figaro." Since earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin, David has garnered rave reviews for his roles in productions of "Ain't Misbehavin',""The Wiz,""Caroline, or Change, Big River, Songs for a New World," and "Cats."

For his work as King Herod in Congo Square's 2010 production of "The Nativity" David received a nomination for The Bill Bojangles Robinson Award from the Black Theater Alliance Award committee. David took part in Drury Lane Theatre's 2010 Best Musical Jeff Award-Winning "Ragtime" which garnered David his first Jeff Award nomination for Best Ensemble. David is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA and the American Guild of Musical Artists.
